I found Alexandra's website on brides North East after having no luck finding a make up artist that I particularly liked. I was very impressed with the testimonials and her work looked amazing. I contacted Alexandra and she was very quick to get back to me. We arranged a trial for myself and my bridesmaid. Alexandra was so friendly and approachable and she really listened to what I wanted. I don't wear a lot of make up usually and my bridesmaid does not wear it at all so we had initially felt quite intimidated by the thought of having a full face of make up but Alexandra did a fantastic job. She talked us through what she would use and showed me all of the products. She was so professional. I was amazed at how light and natural the make up felt. It didn't feel like I was wearing make up at all. My bridesmaid and I were blown away by how good it looked. Alexandra made me look and feel my best on my wedding day. I felt so confident, polished and photo ready. The make up lasted all day and looked just as fresh by the end of the evening. I would highly recommend Alexandra. Her work really is fantastic.

Alexandra did such a good job of my wedding make up, and also making my Mum and two bridesmaids look fabulous too. I had a trial with another artist and went to a couple of make up counters, but nobody else really seemed to understand what I wanted for my big day. Everyone else was keen to put me in 'tasteful' neutral shades, and most of them also made me look and feel quite unlike myself. She was the only one that used the lovely purple-y colours I really wanted on my eyes, and I still felt like me, only far more polished. It was a real stroke of luck finding her and I would definitely recommend her to other brides.

I was really delighted with my make-up on my daughter's wedding day - it gave me a great deal of confidence and I've been using elements of it myself since. I can only say great things about Alexandra's artistic talents to applying make-up. During my daughter's wedding we hired a makeup artist to do the makeup for all the bridesmaids and bride, and Alexandra was one of the bridesmaids. Alexandra offered to do my make-up (the mother-of-the-bride). We ended up being so displeased with the make-up artist's work that Alexandra offered to re-do everyone's makeup. She did a fabulous job and everyone looked beautiful. She literally "saved the day"! I now wish we had hired Alexandra to do the job in the first place.
